Builtform CPM can deliver your building through project managing a main contractor or directly employing sub-contractors and trades and purchasing materials.

PROCUREMENT
Procurement in construction is the process of securing all the goods and services needed to bring a construction project to completion.

  • Tender to main contractors: Builtform CPM (BCPM) prepares tender package and tenders to a number of main contractors; recommendations made for contractor appointment based on price and performance; BCPM project manages the construction reporting to the client on a weekly basis.
  • Elemental Tender and Budget: BCPM breaks down the construction into main elements; tenders each as a separate package.  This method potentially delivers financial efficiency, BCPM purchases materials directly from suppliers and pays labour directly; clarity and control in cost management.  BCPM on site on a regular basis directly project managing each element of the construction. Weekly detailed client reporting on progress, future steps, budget and programme.

PROJECT MANAGEMENT
The project management services vary between the two procurement pathways. 

Main Contractor
Builtform CPM would act as client representative, liaise with the main contractor, manage the contractual issues, arrange the agreed from of contract, issue monthly completed works valuations, monitor the site works, report weekly on programme, budget and general progress, oversee snagging works and sign off on completion.

Elemental Tender and Budget
Builtform CPM effectively acts as main contractor - a full "hands on" approach, instructing each major element under a building contract giving cost certainty, employing some trades directly and purchasing materials directly from suppliers benefitting from account discounts.  Weekly reporting on programme and budget and general progress, closer liaison with the client, effective and controlled cost management, sign off and Premier Guarantee warranty for works issued on completion as an option.
